Our group is dedicated to creating an inclusive and empowering environment that encourages collaboration and success for everyone pursuing STEM fields. We aim to connect and support graduate and undergraduate students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through a range of activities, including newsletters, social events, guest lectures, and professional development seminars. Our network welcomes individuals of all gender identities and anyone who shares our commitment to advancing the success of everyone in STEM. Membership provides access to valuable resources, fostering meaningful connections with peers, professors, and industry professionals to drive collective growth and achievement.

UVic Women in Science is a dynamic student-led community at the University of Victoria committed to empowering everyone in STEM fields. We're here to provide comprehensive support, whether it's forging valuable professional connections, honing your skills, discovering scholarship opportunities, fostering meaningful relationships, and so much more.
While our main focus is uplifting undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Victoria, our mission reaches beyond campus boundaries. We aspire to inspire and support everyone in STEM through a range of engaging outreach programs, all with the aim of making the STEM world a more inclusive and inviting space for all curious minds. UVic Women in Science would like to acknowledge with respect the Lekwungen peoples on whose traditional territory the university stands and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
